MCL's 50-Year History of Leadership in Power Amplifier Technology

• 1961 MCL was founded as Microwave Cavity Laboratories, Inc. in Westchester, IL.
• 1962 First MCL amplifier for military communications was produced.
• 1967 MCL produced their first klystron amplifier for the commercial satcom market.
• 1973 MCL produced their first TWT amplifier for the commercial satcom market.
• 1986 First MCL amplifier for the Satellite News Vehicle market was produced.
• 1986 MCL moved to their current 59,000 ft2 facility in Bolingbrook, IL.
• 1995 MCL introduced the microcontroller-based Klystron and TWT Amplifiers to the commercial satcom market.
• 1998 The construction of an addition to the MCL facility completed, increasing the total floor space of the facility to 124,000 sq. feet.
• 1999 MCL's newest family of amplifiers launched with the introduction of the MT3200 medium power amplifier.
  
• 2000 (May) MCL acquired, in total, by MITEQ Inc.
• 2000-Present Continued development of indoor & outdoor amplifier technology with special concentration on Ka-Band.
